For various age groups!
Babies and Toddlers
In our youngest age group, babies are introduced to Spanish through songs.
Only private classes are offered for our youngest age group, and attendance from their parent or caregiver is necessary. Join us as we learn the parts of the body, colors, family, animals, vehicles, and more in our Spanish Mommy and Me style class!
Preschool to 2nd Grade
From ages 3 and up, we focus on Calendar vocabulary such as the seasons, days of the week, and months. We also continue our exploration of colors, parts of the body, family and more. A caregiver's attendance is not required.
In this older age group, we structure the study of verbs through games like charades. We educate through some traditional methods such as flash cards, but emphasize the learning through game play. Children are able to take turns asking and answering questions to solidify their retention.
3rd Grade and Up
In our older classes we focus on more complex vocabulary, verb conjugation, and putting longer sentences together.
The emphasis in our oldest age group is on conversation. Now that we've emphasized the base, we encourage our students to begin conversing in Spanish, focusing on topics they show particular interest in.
Our Approach
Rayuela, or 'Hopscotch' in English, aims to educate children in Spanish through a new and unique method of teaching focused on exploration.
Indiana, Rayuela's educator, teaches Spanish through games, music, and art. Her goal is not only to teach children language, but to enrich their lives through exposure to Spanish and Latin American culture.
